What does Lobi Compliance Partners handle?

Do you work outside Illinois?
Yes. Our filing partner files in every state. The registered agent is us in Illinois and our national partner in every other state, at $95 for the first year (limited time, regular $125), then $125 per entity, per state, per year.
Are state fees included?
No. Our prices are service fees. State fees are passed through at cost and confirmed before anything is filed.
Is this legal advice?
No. We prepare and file paperwork and keep you on schedule. For legal or tax questions, talk to an attorney or accountant.
Can I add a Chicago address?

What is business compliance filing?
Everything the state and the IRS expect from a company after it exists: keeping a registered agent on file, filing the annual report, keeping the registered office current, filing amendments when the name or owners change, and holding a certificate of good standing when a bank or another state asks. Miss one and the state can fine or dissolve the company. We track the dates and file the forms.
What does an Illinois LLC have to file every year?
One annual report with the Secretary of State, $75, due before the first day of the LLC's anniversary month, plus the registered agent must stay in place all year. A corporation files the same report with franchise tax added. Federal and state tax returns are separate and go through your accountant.
What happens if I miss the Illinois annual report?
The state adds a $100 late penalty after 60 days and, if the report stays unfiled, administratively dissolves the company. Reinstating costs the missed reports, the penalties and a reinstatement fee. Registered agent customers get the reminder before the due date.
Can you handle compliance for a company formed in another state?
Yes. Our filing partner files annual reports, amendments and good standing requests in every state, and provides the registered agent outside Illinois. Lobi Space is the registered agent in Illinois.
