What is the difference between a business mailbox and a virtual office?

A business mailbox gives you a Chicago street address, mail scanning, forwarding and pickup at our front desk. A virtual office adds a signed agreement, meeting room access and a staffed business address. Registered agent service is a separate $95 yearly service. Choose a mailbox for mail only. Choose a virtual office if you need an agreement, bank documentation or a client-facing address.

Can I use a Lobi business mailbox for personal mail?

No. Our business mailbox is for business mail only. It is tied to a registered business entity and a completed USPS Form 1583. Personal mail belongs at your home address.

How is a Lobi business mailbox different from a PO box?

Accepted Answer

A PO box is a number at a post office. A Lobi mailbox is a real street address with a suite number at 1655 S Blue Island Ave. You can receive mail from USPS, UPS, FedEx and DHL. We scan, forward, hold or shred each piece. A PO box cannot accept carrier packages and does not come with a front desk team.

What happens if I do not pick up my mail?

After 30 days, storage fees begin at $10 per week. After 60 days, your box may be closed unless you arrange forwarding or pickup. We will email and text you before any storage charges begin, so nothing sits forgotten.

What counts as a mail item?

Accepted Answer

One envelope, flat or package is one item. Junk mail we recycle at your request does not count against your monthly total.
