Lobi Space started with a simple problem. Chicago has no shortage of business owners, nonprofits, and solopreneurs with big ideas — what it's short on is a place where they can actually find each other.

We exist to serve Chicago's business owners, nonprofits, and solopreneurs — the people building something from the ground up, often without a team, a budget, or a roadmap. Our mission is simple: stay affordable, deliver maximum value, and build real community connections between the people who walk through our doors.
That mission drives every decision we make, from what's included in your membership to how many desks we put on the floor. We'd rather have a space that's a little smaller and a lot more connected than one that's bigger and forgettable.

Being small and close-knit is our biggest advantage, not a limitation. When there are fewer of us, we actually know each other — what you're building, what you need, who you should meet next. That kind of connection doesn't happen at scale.
